30 minutes from Gaytou, the chateau (16th century, classified historical momument) is owned by the co-operative of the vineyards of the Monbazillac appellation. Unlike many, this small and beautifully presented chateau is fully furnished. The terraced gardens have stunning views over the town of Bergerac and the Dordogne valley. There is a restaurant and visitor centre with a large wine shop. Ample parking, mostly shaded.
