Golf de Barthe at Tombeboeuf, a parkland 9 hole par 36 course set in superb contryside with great views. The new owners, Brian and Kim Gower, have already put in a tremendous amount of work to raise the standard of the course and a programme of continuing improvement is in hand. The clubhouse offers a warm welcome to all and the course provides a stiff challenge for those with ambition to break par, or an enjoyable and interesting game for us lesser mortals. Brian - a PGA qualified pro - offers lessons to all and facilities include clubhouse and bar, practice ground, buggy/trolley/club hire, pro-shop facilites, etc. The hospitality and relaxed atmosphere make this a most enjoyable place to play golf and, yes, I am a member. VILLENEUVE SUR LOT GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Villeneuve sur Lot Golf and Country Club is a parkland 18 hole course (plus a 9 hole "academy" par 3 course) set in beautiful countryside with all facilities - pro-shop, practice ground and putting greens, buggies, trollies, club hire, etc. It presents a demanding challenge to the low-handicapper from the white tees and an enjoyable and interesting and testing game from the other tees for the rest of us.
