Bergerac is a 30 minute drive from Gaytou and has much to interest the visitor. Cross the old bridge and park on the cobbles of the former river port and then explore the old town. Maison de Vin set in the cloisters of an old monastery where you can buy wines of the Bergerac appellation, museums of wine, tobacco, and rivercraft, winding streets and good restaurants and bars. After exploring, have lunch and then take a trip on the river to wind down!
